To bike in your own pace and visit some of Vemdalens absolute gems when it comes to culinary experiences might not sound too bad? Just enough exercise, stunningly beautiful experiences and a fair amount of enjoyment in a lovely combination - an easy choice and and easy route with no steep hills to overcome! 

Start with renting your bike at the bakery Klövsjö Stenugnsbageri in the middle of Klövsjö village. And how convenient - this is also the place where your first culinary experience will start! At the bakery you find a range of sourdough bread with just the right crisp and taste. There are cakes and chocolate creams, buns and cookies. Maybe try some right away or bring some for later on.

Continue towards Klövsjö ski area. With a stunning view over the lake and village you follow a cozy dirt road that eventually will lead you to Tomtangården, a farm with ancestry from the 17th centrury. Once you are here you cannot avoid the lovely smell of home made waffles that are being served summertime. And you are most likely worth some rest and culinary pleasure!

The final destination is the farmhouse dairy Kullens Gårdsmejeri where a tasty cheese experience awaits you. The farm shop offers a cheese buffet with some of the 30 different cheeses that the dairy produces from cow and goat milk. If you don't feel for cheese at the moment you can of course buy some for later. In the farm shop there is also other delicacies from Jämtland Härjedalen as bread, beer, tea, marmalade, cordial and chocolate. 

The rout is 10 km and takes around 1,5-2 hours depending on how long you choose to stay and enjoy the stops. The rout is to be found in the hike and bike map of Vemdalen which can be purchased in the village.
